About Us
We Start
In July 1995, The Education Trust decided to set up an Education Committee to work on the setting up of a Secondary Education Institution capable of producing academically successful devout professionals of the future with a firm grounding in moral values.
With the relentless dedication of members of the Trust and valuable sponsorship from the Emir of Qatar, the Secondary School project came into realisation. The laying of the foundation stone of the Doha Academy took place on 12th January 2002 by His Highness Sheikh Tameem Bin Hamad Al Thani, the crowned Prince of Qatar and son of the Emir of Qatar in the presence of the President of Mauritius his Excellency Mr Cassam Uteem.
Over the years, The Doha Academy has expanded exponentially to accomodate around 3500 students in its 3 campuses around Mauritius.
